A chance to change lives… WFTO Chief Executive.

The World Fair Trade Organization has announced that it has opened a search for a new Chief Executive. This is a once in a life time opportunity to make a demonstrable difference in the lives of millions of economically marginalised people around the globe.

The WFTO seeks a dynamic, energetic, visionary leader with significant administrative, marketing and nonprofit or association management experience.  The position requires a strong commitment to Fair Trade as a strategy to reduce poverty and promote sustainable development. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience in the Global South and a working knowledge of Spanish.

The Chief Executive needs to reside in the Netherlands and will work out of the WFTO Global office in that country. Preference will be given to candidates currently able to legally work in the Netherlands.

The salary for this job in no way reflects the importance or challenge of the role, but the real rewards will be immense.
